Eye Candy

Hey everyone! Today's blog is going to be a super fun spring tutorial! I love the bright colors that are in season for Spring 2012, so I thought I would incorporate the lively colors into a cute eye tutorial! This is going to be a complete makeup tutorial, so keep on reading to find out how to achieve this look!

Step 1: Apply your favorite foundation and concealer. You want your face to look flawless and have your skin tone evened out. I use the Covergirl Natureluxe foundation in shade 310, and the Laura Mercier Secret Concealer in shade 1.
Step 2: Take your favorite bronzer and apply it to your face using the 3-E trick. This will give you a very natural radiance to your forehead, cheeks, and chin. I really love Nars Laguna Bronzer, it gives the perfect sun-kissed glow for any skin.
Step 3: Using a very natural blush, apply it to the apples of your cheeks. I would suggest using a blush like MAC's Ladyblush. You don't want to have a very bright color on your cheeks because it can distract from the gorgeous pop of color you will apply to your lower lashline.
Step 4: Now, it's time for the eyes! I would suggest applying a primer to ensure the shadow to stay on all day. You want to apply the primer on your lid and right underneath your lower lashes. For a lid color, take a very natural sparkly color, like MAC's All That Glitters.
Step 5: This is my favorite part of this look! I am using bareMinerals eyeshadow in Wildflower, which is a beautiful magenta with a blue duochrome. Then, using a pencil brush, place the shadow right on my lower lashline.
Step 6: I would not suggest to put any black or brown liner on your eyes. Go ahead and curl your lashes and apply a few coats of your favorite mascara. You want to make your lashes noticeable, but not have them overpower the color on your lower lashline!
